"Hi Paul.  Words can't express our thanks for what you did at our wedding reception, but we'll try.  When the power went out I was really worried, but when we got news that it might not come back on at all I flipped out. You were hired to play music and make introductions, not to deal with tornados, but if it wasn't for you the night would have been ruined.  I don't think that anyone else would have been as level headed and quick thinking enough to direct everyone, and keep the evening flowing.  No one new what to do, it was hot, and there was no food, but then I heard music coming from the side door.  When you decided to use my brother's loud car stereo to start the grand entrance and formal dancing I thought that you were crazy, but it turned out to be just what we needed to get everyone to relax and have a great time. By the time the power came back on I was having so much fun we almost didn't want to stop for dinner and the rest of the night went just the way we hoped.  I bet that you'll never DJ another wedding from a car, and I'll bet that you'll never forget my crazy reception.  We know that we will never forget you guys. You saved our wedding day from being a big mess and turned it into the most wonderful and unforgettable evening of our lives and for that I can't thank you enough."

"I wanted to write to you on behalf of my entire family to thank you for saving our daughter's reception.  After the cake almost fell over and the food was an hour and a half late, I was far from in the mood to be at a reception, and was on the verge of becoming very unpleasant with the hostess and caterers.  Luckily for me you were doing a very good job of smoothing things over between the resort staff caterers and myself, and taking extra time remind my daughter and I what this day was really about.  We all appreciate the good music and exiting introductions that you gave us on the microphone, but it was the little things that you said to my daughter and I when we were so upset that made you stand out to us. At the end of the evening after mostly everyone had gone, I remember looking at my husband and saying thank God for that DJ.  We wanted you to know that you truly were the reason that our daughters reception was a success.  Thank you."
