Receptions ~ This is our area of expertise.  We have been entertaining at wedding receptions for nearly a decade, and we continue to find new ways to improve our services with every reception that we do. We send two team members to every wedding; one emcee and one sound and lighting technician.  This will ensure that the emcee can keep everything moving smoothly while the music is being skillfully controlled by the technician.  We also pride ourselves on being your unofficial "reception coordinators". What we mean by this is that we will do everything in our power to make sure that the reception goes as smoothly as possible.  We work hand in hand with the photographer and videographer to make sure that they are always nearby when the big events take place.  We gather "missing" groomsmen before important pictures and group dances.  We will dismiss tables if it is a buffet style reception, and we have even been known to give the prayer before dinner when the minister or priest couldn't be found.  When you hire Legendary Sound and Entertainment for your reception you can be confident that your big day is in good hands.

School Dances ~ Many of our team members are teachers which makes us the ideal company to hire for all of your school dances.  While we can't change the trend of negativity and inappropriate language in the popular music of today's kids, we can give you peace of mind. We only play radio edited versions of songs, and we will use our discretion to weed out songs that even when edited are a little too risqué to play at a school function. When you hire a teacher to emcee your school dances you can finally be confident that the parent chaperones won't be giving you the evil eye at the end of the evening.  

Office Parties ~ A time for people who see each other every day to come together at night and see each other again.  Sounds like a great concept don't you think?  Well it is, but with one little problem that most office party planners overlook.  While most of your employees may get along at work, a party is a completely different situation.  When you fill a room with supervisors, mailroom personnel, desk clerks, and executives, you have just created the perfect recipe for awkward silence.  When confronted with this situation many employees will not know how to handle themselves for fear of looking bad in front of others (especially the boss), so you end up with a room full of people quietly eating cheese and crackers while talking to their spouses.  This is where we come in.  A DJ can break that awkward silence by providing music, but more than that we have a variety of games, prizes, and other special tricks up our sleeves to get everyone mingling and having a blast.  Before you know it you'll be holding the pole as the boss limbos underneath! 

Karaoke ~ Ah yes the next best thing to American Idol.  Karaoke is one of the most entertaining ways to spruce up a party or bring valuable customers to a restaurant or drinking establishment.  Everyone likes to think that they can sing like Frank Sinatra or Faith Hill, and this is their chance to show the world, or at least all the people at your event.  Legendary Sound and Entertainment has a karaoke library of over 1000 of the best songs from yesterday and today that cover every genre from swing to heavy metal.  Our two karaoke DJs have the vocal talent to get the singing going, and the always positive support to keep you coming back again and again.  Competition makes karaoke that much more fun, so we do offer packages that include a karaoke showdown where the audience votes, and you can win big prizes.

ETC... ~ With nearly a decade of experience, we have done some very fun and very "interesting" types of events.  Some events that we have done include: car, motorcycle, and boat shows, basketball and mud volleyball tournaments, anniversary and birthday parties, fairs, festivals, and many more.  If it requires a microphone and /or music we can handle it.
